10 Things to Make Your Birthday Special With Your Own Cake Decoration

Is your birthday approaching? Or is Today your Birthday?

Don't let it past like any ordinary birthday. Make it more special and memorable by greeting your guest with your very own cake decoration!

Following are 10 things to add a punch to your birthday party by decorating your own birthday cake:

Collect some delicious chocolates, toffies and fruit colors that you would like to see on your Birthday cake.
Prepare some icing, chocolate flakes and strawberry syrup or apple jam for your cake.
Slice some fruits like oranges, bananas, apples, etc. that you like for your birthday cake.
Freeze some Rose petals in your deep freezer as they will look great on your Birthday Cake.
If you can get some gold and silver (eatable) paper then use that too in your cake decoration, as that gives a great boost to the look and feel of the cake, specially when it is being decorated for a Golden or Silver Jubilee.
You can also get some eatable toys from the confectionery stores, if the birthday cake is for a kid.
As candles are the most visible element on the cake, they need to be special too. So try to get your hands on some specially decorated birthday candles for your cake.
Some people like to add a drum-stick of chocolate wafer or crunchy wafer to the cake. So you can use that too for your birthday cake.
Cherries have always been a favorite of many when it comes to birthday cake decoration, so use them generously all over your cake and remember to take out the seed before using any.
Last but not the least, don't forget to write the name of the birthday boy or girl, in a decorative way with the help of apple jam on the cake, to make it fully personal.
